Storm checks after a monsoon

A monsoon storm can do a lot to a house in twenty minutes, and an empty house can't tell you. After a storm, we go and look.

Why a storm check matters more on an empty house

Arizona's monsoon season runs from June 15 to September 30, and it brings strong wind, dust storms, sudden heavy rain and power outages. When you're home, you notice a leak under a window or a patio umbrella through the glass the same evening. When the house is empty, the same damage can sit for days, and water and heat make it worse every one of them.

A storm check is an extra visit, on top of your regular schedule, to see what the storm did while it's still a small problem.

What we check after a storm

We walk the outside and the inside of the home and record what we find in your QRIDit report, with photos:

The roofline, as far as we can see it from the ground, for tiles that have slipped or broken
Patio furniture, cushions, umbrellas and shade sails, and anything the wind has moved
Gates, walls and fences, and any trees or branches down on or near the house
Ceilings and walls near windows and exterior walls, for new water staining
Breakers and lights, to confirm the power came back on properly
The AC, to confirm it's running and holding temperature after an outage
The fridge and freezer temperatures, in case the power was out for a while

A verified record of what the storm did

If a storm does damage the house, a record of what we found and when is exactly what you'll want when you talk to your insurance company or line up a repair. Every visit is GPS and time verified from a QR scan at your home, and the photos go into your QRIDit report the same day.

A walk around the outside for roof tiles, patio furniture, gates, walls and fallen branches, and a check inside for water, power, the AC and the fridge and freezer, with photos in your QRIDit report.
